How do I upgrade to the latest version of Trutap?
On your mobile phone, go to the upgrade page at http://m.trutap.com/u to find out if the latest version of Trutap is available for your phone. We will also send you a Trutap message informing you when an upgrade is available so look out for that!
I've forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password you can reset it here, or by sending a message to Trutap Guru in your contacts with the subject 'password'
When I upgrade, will my data be saved?
All your Trutap contacts, messages, profile data and blog accounts will automatically be saved by us and loaded on to the new version. You will just have to re-enter your IM account details.
When I start the upgrade, it says the application source differs from the original
If you see this message, click to continue. You'll see this if you installed your old version of Trutap from a different site, but it's nothing to worry about.
While upgrading, I get asked if I want to replace or overwrite the existing version
If you see this message, click Yes. This will ensure that the new version replaces the old version on your phone.
While upgrading, I get asked if I want to keep existing data
You can say 'No' to this and continue the upgrade. Trutap automatically saves data for you, such as your contacts, messages and profile.
I finished the upgrade but then nothing happened
When the application has finished installing it should prompt you to start Trutap straight away. However some phones, such as series 60 Nokias, do not automatically start applications following download - if that's the case you'll need to navigate to the applications folder to start Trutap manually. If Trutap has not installed correctly you will be shown an error message.
Where is the 'Download to PC' option?
You can download Trutap to your PC here. Once the app has downloaded, transfer it to your phone using bluetooth or a cable.
