Help > Inbox
- What is my Inbox?
- Your Inbox is where your incoming Trutap and content messages are stored, ready for you to read. It's a list of conversations.
- What are Conversations?
- To make it easier to follow discussions, we bunch messages that follow on from one another together into Conversations. By clicking into a conversation, you can see all the messages you have sent or received within that particular discussion.
- Sending messages
- To send a Trutap message either highlight a friend or group in Contacts and select 'New message' from the menu, or from the messaging home screen select 'New message'. You can add multiple friends and groups before typing your message.
- Group messaging
- With Group messaging you can send messages to lots of friends at once and they can reply to everyone. You can also save a bunch of contacts as a Group and message them all in one go. Great for arranging a night out and sharing the pictures!
- Picture messaging
- When you are sending a message you can choose to add a picture. Select Add picture from the menu to take a photo with your phone's camera. You can't save pictures or add pictures from your phone's folders at the moment.
- Can I send SMS?
- Yes. To send an SMS to someone you need to add them as a contact, then go to Contacts, highlight them and select 'New SMS' from the left key menu. Note: you can't currently send SMS to Trutap friends, only contacts.
- Can I send emails?
- Yes. To send an email to someone you need to add them as a contact, then go to Contacts, highlight them and select 'New Email' from the left key menu. Note: you can't currently send Email to Trutap friends, only contacts.
- Saving drafts
- When you're writing a message, choose 'save to drafts' using the on-screen options if you want to save it for later. You can then access it from the 'drafts' tab
